Received my parcel and it turns out they sent me white dial version instead of the Manta Ray version I ordered.

Kyosuke85Same here and they offered me measly $20 refund for the model that was $30 cheaper in the first place. Ended up returning the watch for full refund.

So I got mine today... Pfft... Looks like a blind man installed the date window. It's clearly crooked. I guess the upside is maybe I can remove it. It's bad enough I won't wear the watch, and wouldn't feel good selling it either.

Pleased to say I got a white dial; I was quick on it as I’ve been wanting this watch since I first saw it & it was a great price! Now just waiting for it to be dispatched, it’s supposed to be today but who knows!

Take heart, they have had many drops with only a few items to actually sell. I recall before the big Alpina drive, they posted a model that they must only have had one of. Perhaps they should disclose exactly how many they have of each item as a rule, with a count down. This would increase the likelihood of pushing the 'buy' button.

They had 20 watches to offer. It actually sold out in around 20 minutes - drop was set up for 10 days(!!) - what was the point? I mean: this 10 days was an indicator for me, that there are a lot of watches available... that’s just a joke. Why can’t they put on a drop an information regarding how much of the watches are left???

Got lucky and managed to snag one Manta ray version before it was all gone.
Was eyeing it during the local 11.11 sales, but decided to wait.
A week later, BAM, Drop decides to deliver a nice surprise and sell it cheaper than local 3rd party sellers.
Feels good man.

Well look at it this way: now MD knows what you really want for Christmas and if they don’t bring this one back (or others just as good), and instead show up again with a bunch of Ingersoll's and crumby Russian watches, it can only mean one thing—they never really loved you, and were only after your money, all this time!

Yep that was quick. However I wouldn’t be that discouraged. I watched some reviews and this particular model has a few issues some are typical for seiko and some are new.
yes the dial is mesmerizing for sure BUT
- Bezel kind of lines up LOL
- crown finishing is not ideal
