Super cool watch at great drop pricing.
This is the well known and loved Samurai case but in ultra cool pvd case and save the oceans degrade blue dial. Wears extremely well despite being on the large side. The rubber strap is one of the best at this price IMHO. The movement is a classical work horse, usually with much better accuracy than specs suggest. Extremely good price, much lower than anywhere else online. Overall very happy with my purchase.

First Diver - Love It!
This is my first foray into diver style watches. I had mentioned this particular watch to one of my co-workers and the next morning it was sitting on my desk to try on - I wore it for about 20 minutes and decided I had to have it. I've been wearing it daily for about 2 months and it has been fantastic. It wears nicely on my 7" wrist, no overhang. The gunmetal case is subtle and a nice shift away from the traditional black or silver timepieces I have. The bezel rotates nicely with well defined clicks and aligns perfectly on at the 12 o'clock position. I saw someone mention that they didn't want to discuss accuracy - I'm not sure why...I set mine on 9/2/20 at 13:42 against my cell...today is 10/30/20 at 11:05 and it's reading +10s net...so that's what, like +0.2 sec/day for a $300 watch? Solid in my book. I will admit, I checked it at some other points along the way and noted it was, at worst -40s or so at around the 20 day mark (so -2 sec/day, still not bad). One of the most amazing parts of this piece is the face - it's really difficult to see in pictures, but the way it fades from light to dark from the 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock position is beautiful. The subtle "waves" in the face are not distracting and provide some additional depth and character. When the sun hits it just right the blue really shimmers. The silicone band is comfortable, it's a bit long (my understanding is that has more to do with the original function of the watch (to fit around a wet suit)) but I'm still in the middle of the band. I generally switch between 2 of the holes based on how much it's moving around. One thing to note is that if you have larger wrists and have to use some of the holes towards the tail of the band, you might find that the keeper slides off...I'm right at the cusp, on hotter days I had to move out a hole and found the keeper just over the tail of the band about to fall off. This piece seems to wear a lot taller than the specs measure. I find myself bumping it on things all the time. It's held up well so far. That also brings up the Hardlex crystal. Despite hitting it on a lot of things so far, the crystal is still in good shape. It would have been nice if it had a sapphire crystal but it seems like the crystal would be difficult to damage through normal running into door frames and hitting it against desks due to it being recessed below the bezel. The bezel will probably see the majority of the damage (in my case at least...damn jumping doorways). Finally, the lume on this is outstanding. It will glow bright for 20+ minutes from just normal indoor light and if you are in the sun and bring it inside, it will glow in the lighted room! It's insane! I've posted some pictures below and in the photos section.

Hi, I didn't buy the Seiko Prospex Blue Silicone, I bought the Seiko Prospex Special Edition Blue Whale - SRPD11, and I'm delighted with it. A greeting.

Honestly love this thing - it has exceeded my expectations! If I have to pick at something, it would be a long tail on the strap with a single retainer. I wish there was a way to use two of the retaining clips to keep it from opening. watch keeps about +5 seconds a day, which is pretty good in my book.

First diver
This is the first diver's watch I own. I will not discuss whether it is accurate or not, I just like it and this is enough.
