Seiko’s Prospex line is hailed for its durability and good looks. The SRPD33 and SRPD35 are a great choice for an outdoor adventure or a nice dinner with friends. Aesthetically, they have a durable, rounded case and a curved Hardlex crystal for a balanced look on the wrist. The dial comprises large Arabic numerals at the cardinal hours and lumed stick markers in between them. Instead of an external bezel, there’s a rotating inner compass ring to help you track your way in the field (to adjust it, use the shielded crown at 2 o’clock). Once you’re in the elements, you won’t need to worry about rain or water, thanks to a 200-meter water-resistance rating. Finally, fitted with an automatic 4R36 movement, the watch will tick for 41 hours between wears.
