It’s a really handsome watch. I went with the white and it’s a nice piece for business dress. It was offered in other colors and I kick myself for not ordering a couple to have some options. Please bring back another sale!

Nice watch, not so nice band

Not particularly heavy which is nice on a hot summers day or those sometimes less-than-enjoyable winter drives where another distraction is the last thing you need. Which is why I removed the band before even getting it sized. I could already feel the bald spots rearing their Colombo-esque heads. Very pinchy. I did read reviews about the hands being too fine and hard to read. While they’re not entirely wrong I think they’re splitting hairs or looking for something to complain about. I did get the black face, so maybe that’s why I disagree. The hands are thinner than most watches, but not unreadably so. Maybe if standing directly in sunlight, facing the sun, but just shield it with your hand and keep all the knowledge and complexity for yourself. The white subdials remind of me of sports cars and analog stopwatches of yesteryear. A classic look for modern times. The buttons lack any sort of click, but they function just fine regardless. The subdials present the same satisfying click as the diminutive secondhand and sweep back quite nicely upon reset. It’s a little smaller and a little lighter than some watches I own, but without feeling cheap. Very nice for a distraction-free daily wearing experience.

A solid first watch

Other than my Apple Watch, I haven’t worn anything on my wrist that costs more than $20. This watch however feels and looks great when I wear it out, you definitely get what you pay for.

As I expected for the price

I wasn't disappointed with the watch. I think the style I chose was the right one but it turns out that the hands are harder to see than I expected. Consciously tilting the watch in the right light direction however makes the hands clearer to read. About 2 quadrants of the dial have a mat finish which always gives me the impression that moisture has got inside the glass. The contrast is strange in certain light. Other than that, the watch is fine. It is hard to imagine recommending the watch to anyone as there seems to be so many to chose from that most of the fun is in making that decision.
