The hell with all this warranty talk, it's a damn Seiko--what could go wrong? Here's a better thing to worry about: what if somebody asks you what the hell all those damn numbers on the face and bezel are all about? You could just make something up, or you could be honest and tell 'em you don't have a clue--you just bought the watch because you thought it was cool (at which point, the watch will look cool--you, not so much). Or...how about we watch a little Youtube video where this nice guy, Mark gives us a brief explanation of the many functions of this watch? It's a little complicated and there is some math involved, but if you hang in there, you'll be smarter for the effort and have a better appreciation for how people got a long without the internet and smart phones--you know, like, thirty years ago--before you were born? Not to mention how smart you're going to sound when someone asks you what all those numbers are for ; - ) Hit it Mark!

RayFMissing the point, warranty is priced into items, the lower MD price excludes warranty effectively means the price you are paying for it is not much better than other online outlets.

CueBIf you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it warrantied I will... I've got spare time. How do you know the warranty fairy isn't some crazy glue sniffer... He sneaks into your house once and that's all it takes. Next thing you know, there is money missing off your dresser and your daughter is knocked up! I've seen it a hundred times.
