Can anybody tell me if it is a real compass or it is just a toy to rotate? I mean, are there a mechanism that shows you the north like in Casio Protreks, for example?
Thank you very much

CasparoThat depends on your defintion of a real compass. This doesn't have a magnetized needle or digital compass function like a Protrek series Casio, instead it features a rotating compass ring which may be used to find the direction during daylight hours.

CasparoIt is a real compass that requires brain power to use, much like how the ancients did it; using the sun.
