Product Description
A dress watch and a powerful tool, the Seiko Neo Classic is equal parts looks and functionality. The polished stainless steel case, leather band, and rose gold accents would suggest that it's aimed at the businessman, but the other features behind the watch make it more more widely applicable Read More

In Internet I see that there is another version, on bracelet. And it says it is 40mm big. Is this an error or is MD specifying size with crown and others don't include crown in size?

This is about as large as I go on my 7.25" wrist. Love the perpetual calendar that is correct month after month. It's on Jomashop for same price.

Don't forget to check Amazon. You could have it in a couple days for about the same price (depends on which model you want).

Can't add a review for some reason, so I'll just post my impressions here.
  • Function: Initial setup is probably around 30 minutes, half of that is reading the manual, the other is clicking all the buttons. It's by no means simple, but it's manageable. Past that, the watch does what the dial shows, although I can't see myself using the tachymeter at any point in my lifetime.
  • Looks and size: The white and gold model is pretty pleasant. You can easily tell it's neither real gold nor a luxury watch, but the dial is very detailed. The size is... Big. Not pimp-size, but after wearing it for three weeks and going back to a 40.5mm watch, the latter looks like a kids toy.
  • Strap: It suppled down pretty nicely after a week or two, but out of the box I'd seen roadkill less stiff than this. I've wrapped it around an oval object (a fat old portable amp) overnight for a week and through that combined with daily wear, the strap turned out to be surprisingly cooperative.
Three nitpicks I've got with this piece is that:
  1. The red half-moon day hand isn't dead centre on the number (not evident in the picture), but rather a little bit forward on my piece. The chronograph does not exhibit this issue, so my assumption is that they screwed up the printing. Unlike the day hand, this cannot be adjusted, so it's a final thing.
  2. The buttons look cheap, both in design and in finish, although that's naturally a subjective thing.
  3. The glass is not sapphire (in fact, it's not even glass).
Still, overall, it's a nice everyday functional watch if you're okay with the size, and luxury watches are neither your nor your wallet's thing.

Great watch. Picked it up a year ago from here although I got the white dial with blue hands one. I think the price was lower too.

Argh. I actually really like this design, but this is the one colorway that I don't care for.

They have three versions of this watch at Jomashop, so probably elsewhere like World of Watches. The one with blue hands and black leather is actually the least expensive of the three (although, like you, I like it best) at $135. The other two, including the one for sale here, are $140, which leaves room for still making this a deal even with the taxes and shipping.
