Backed by Seiko’s kinetic movement—which provides up to 6 months of power on a full wind—the SRN sports a unique dial layout. Equipped with minimal markers and a date window at 3, for the most part, the dial is relatively straightforward. However, beneath the date window is a large, sweeping cutout for the day of the week, to which points another slim hand. Depending on the model you choose (there are nine available), the colors of the small hand and the sweeping arc beneath it will differ. The case on the SRN is made from stainless steel and water resistant to 100 meters. To check the remaining power, click the pusher at 2 o’clock.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice from eight different models. Pricing will vary depending on your selection; see checkout options for more details.
Released by Seiko in the late 1980s, kinetic movements combine the accuracy of quartz with the winding mechanism of an automatic watch. A fully charged kinetic watch will store up to 6 months of power. To determine the power level, hit the button at the 2 o’clock position—if it skips ahead 30 seconds, it’s fully charged; 15 seconds, it has 3 months of power; and so on.
