This is tempting but seikos famous for their misaligned bezels so I’ll pass. Also I think the orient triton is a much better watch for a little more money.

JayR278Interesting. I have 5 Seiko monsters, not one has a misaligned bezel.

JayR278I assume you meant misaligned chapter ring rather than bezel. I sat this one out as i joined the recent seiko titanium drop which should be arriving mid week and make a very nice daily driver with all Ti case, bracelet, and a sapphire crystal. It is my first Seiko as i own a couple Orients currently along w a fossil quartz diver that was my first watch 20 years ago. Someone would have to convince me a seiko diver is different enough to spend twice as much as my ray 2.

JayR278The monster is literally the only budget Seiko diver where you don't have to worry about misalignment, the bezel has no insert, so it's machining is inherent and not subject to gluing an insert in, and the alignment of the minute track insert is also fixed, because of the cutouts for the indices. So that is why you will never find a misaligned Monster.

Glen8the only Seiko i own currently is a Ti dress watch so thats good info to know about the monster. I do own an orient ray 2 diver and have been pretty happy with it so not sure if I'm willing to spend double the money on a Seiko diver unless somebody could talk me into it.
