Hi can any one tell me if this watch would be suitable for light diving? I'll be in the Caribbean in February and will be doing swimming and snorkeling mainly.
ChrisSnowThough NOT a true 'Driver' ( 200 meters or More). It's fine for Light Diving ( Snorkeling and such). Just make sure Your Crown, has been Pushed-In , all the way.
BTW - For a Seiko, at this Price Point; The Links should be Solid, Not "folded - over" metal. And the Crown, "screwed - down", for Water Resistance.
ChrisSnowThe watch will most likely be okay due to the 100m rating, however it's still a risk because it's not designed to be a dive watch. It's an aviation inspired watch with the slide rule bezel and no screw down crown. I would recommend that you take the safer route and remove the watch before you go into the water.
