for years I have been using nail clippers, made in China, that were beveled the wrong direction. If you can imagine that, then you likely can assume that anything would be much better, but these are WAY above expectations. The ergonomics are great and the cutter part is sharp enough to deal with thick nails. I suggest also getting a smaller pair for ladies. I personally always used "toenail clipper size" for everything but the smaller pair definitely allows me to pay better attention to fingers. I don't even feel the need to file, which is a great thing, because nail filing makes me want to pass out.
I have tried numerous clippers for my tough toenails. Nothing prior to this has worked, including items costing $50 dollars plus. These clippers are very sharp and require very little pressure to cut nails.
You notice the build quality of these right away--they feel great in the hand. They are cut nails fantastically well. I never realized how poor all of the other nail cutters that I've used had been.
Alright, I know. Nail clippers. Yes, they're worth it. I bought these to replace the large clippers in the full grooming kit, purely for that little extra girth on the handle.
