I have some other quality Japanese-made clippers that I bought last year while in Japan, but I find that they're too large to comfortably use with fingernails. One of the issues (resulting from the size) is that it's difficult to see the part of the nail that's about to be clipped. What are the Sekis like in this regard? Do they have a good level of fine control? Can you get into the corners?

SmithyNZPersonally I have had none of the issues that you're describing. It has, as far as I can tell, the same type of clipping end as every other nail clipper, just made of better stuff. The bulky ends are great for having a solid grip on the thing

SmithyNZSo to clarify, yes to good control and yes to getting into the corners. If I lost these, I wouldn't hesitate to get another Seki. They do make them without the bulging end that might save you 2 bucks, but the bigger ends are worth it imo They are selling the seki grooming kit here on Drop so you can see the normal looking clippers there
