As a fairly modern male, not to be confused with a 'millennial'. This style of nail clippers is obsolete. If you want a spring-loaded nail clipper that launches the clipping(s) at terminal velocity, then go for it. I have discovered the lever-based nail clipper that retains the clipping and allows convenient disposal to any receptacle. As convenient as that is, imagine this. The device folds up into a flat profile for pocket carry. As a field technician for big name PC OEM's, having long fingernails is not a pleasant experience. Branding motherboards with nearly 90 digits is not pleasant when your fingernail length exceeds the travel of an ultrabook key. I was constantly lambasted for clipping my nails at work, when I was paid to keyboard constantly. Now, I clip nails when and where I need, without fear of hate.
