Product Description
Featuring a single 15-millimeter dynamic driver and two Knowles balanced armatures, the XBA-6in1 IEMs are a great upgrade over the previous 4in1 model. They’re designed to be worn with the cable straight down (rather than around the ear) and have standard MMCX connectors for easy cable replacement Read More

I have using my XBA for 48hrs now with the supplied accessories listening from music source Spotify via my Samsung Galaxy N8 and xDSD dac/amp and have concluded the following:
1: The supplied mmcx cable IMO is to rubbery. Very difficult to recoil and store away after use into the supplied case. If you are to wear them drop down from ears, it should have a chin slider so that the iem is more secure when wearing.
I suggest changing this poor quality cable.
2: The supplied ear tips leaks alot of sound. I suggest changing them for memory foam tips like comply to have that perfect sound seal.
With the modification listed above I can say these sound very good, I can hear detailed sound separation from instruments. In fact it is on the same par as the T2 but with little bit more bass and mids.
I do like these but with the mods.

Quick summary of what's below, V-shaped iems with highs being extremely present, not for everyone especially audiophiles. For the price these aren't a bad buy imo, but not on my recommendations . The Sound: These iems are nothing special to write home about, they have a very V-shape sound signature and would classify them as average fun iems. The highs are present and can be fatiguing to the point that I've had to make new custom eq setting on my devices to tone down the highs. Some might say these don't have bass, these do have bass but won't satisfy someone who is into bass. These iems don't really have any sound stage and the sound is centered in your head, but there is separation and clarity in these after some adjustments are made. I've found the vocals are never drowned out so I like this aspect of these iems. The Comfort: The provided eartips are OK for listening sessions under an hour, they provide a good seal for me and don't fall out, but they do start to become uncomfortable and hurt a little near the hour mark so have changed them to comply eartips. You also have to make these sit perfectly in your ear, the housing can push against your ear and start to get painful after a while. The cable is rubbery and holds memory which is a bummer, but again what you get for an iem at this price range. The fact they are detachable allows for an upgrade in the future. Conclusion: You get what you pay for, and they are ok iems once some equilizing is done, and becomes better with some small upgrades. For me points lost for comfort and the c sound is acceptable, but there's room for improvements.

They have great base to them but after wearing them for a while they start to hurt the inner part of my ears.

My friend and I both got these, after a few days of use my Left earpiece started stuttering and losing sound, so I left them until I could see my friend and test if what was broken was the cable or the headphone itself. Yesterday I finally saw my friend and we were able to verify that it was indeed the cable, but when he tried to snapout his earpice from my cable the whole thing fell apart! Needless to say we were very disappointed. We managed to make a complete headphone out of both so my friend could still have his. I would like to be contacted to see if there is a way to work a replacement because I actually liked the sound on them but was only able to use them for a few days...

Sound is really hollow. Across several types of music, sound remained tinny with thin bass and mids. Tried to burn these in over two nights in hopes of better sound, but I didn't notice any improvements. $7 Panasonic earbuds sound better. $35 Sony XBR earbuds sound MUCH better. Massdrop shouldn't be selling these - it's a disservice to customers to allow items of such poor quality on the site.

It's what's you're paying for
Cheap but they do work. Keeping them hooked up to a work bt headset does work but I would not put more trust into their sonic qualities.

Eh.
Not bad, but they don’t shine anywhere either. There’s better pairs in the same price range.

Terrible construction, cable was flimsy, the unit I received even has audio channel balancing issues. Tried to swap out the mmcx cable and when I pulled on the right audio cable it snapped. (what?) overall unable to verify if it's even a worthy purchase cuz it broke already within 1 hour of using.

They feel good in the hand; the cable is rubbery and the buds have a nice weight. They look well constructed. However, the sound is terrible. It's very tinny, there's no bass or mids. I have ten dollar earbuds that sound better than these. Not worth the money.
