Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

Edit2: yes, the hd6xx and th610 use the same connectors (also hd600/hd650 and th900mk2), so this cable should work for any of those headphones.

(I have tried a few different cables, all of which terminate into an unbalanced 1/4" jack and they makes the phones sound terrible so maybe it wouldn't make a difference if the connection was balanced I don't know for sure)
Inverted polarity sounds kind of strange as the phones are now moving sound waves reversed into the phone cups then reflect to your ears (<-Sound->) instead of directly into your ears (->Sound<-). In my experience it really kills the power you get out of your phone as the sound has to fight back through the moving driver to reflect to your ears.
I find my Th900MK II's really lack the power that they have when the polarity is correct.
This is my experience while using unbalanced cables. I have not tried using balanced cables with the polarity reversed so i am not sure if it would make a difference.
Sennheiser connector: the upper pin is slightly larger then the lower pin.
Official Fostex Connectors: the size difference is a bit more pronounced.
