thordorkThat’s if you even maintain credit. To me maintaining credit is a terrible idea, so the cash back is nowhere near worth the unlimited free healthcare/unlimited debt (debt = money in your pocket btw, good credit = money in creditors pockets.) We will see how good peoples credit is when they have a medical emergency and their insurance company doesn’t want to cover certain medical procedures leaving you with tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills and now your perfect credit you worked your entire life to build is wiped out in seconds. Hard pass.

League544If you are considering buying a headphone that is $2000, I am not sure why a credit card is an issue. I am not suggesting going into debt to buy this. My assumption is that having reward credits on Amazon might be more useful than having reward credits on Drop.

League544You know you can pay off a credit card right? I do 100% of my spending on credit cards and have never paid a penny in interest. Pay your statement in full each month.
League544I... wow, you just blew my mind. There’s a LOT more that can be said, but this is soooo far off topic. BTW, I did my math wrong earlier. Amazon’s 5% of ~$2000 = $100 Amazon credit. Drop’s 30,000 points / 500 increments * $5 per increment = $300 of Drop store credit (15% back?!). If I’m doing my math right NOW 😅, then this is the best deal on a new HD 820 that I’ve ever seen.

IndalecioThat’s not the point though see if you go to the doctor you’re going to be paying out the ass even with your insurance not to mention the fact that you have to pay for insurance to begin with. If you maintain credit, you are also liable to having to pay them back, or else you won’t have a good credit score. This puts you in sticky situations when a company screws you over and you refuse to pay but you’re getting screwed over in the end anyways because you care about your precious credit. I buy everything in cash, if I can’t buy it in cash I DON’T buy it. My total bills per month are 650 bucks, I have a four bedroom house with a double sized yard and a driveway that holds 8 cars. I have all the latest tech/ etc. I don’t need credit in my life I never did never will. I use debt to increase my true net worth aka my possessions/ investments/ cash in the bank. It was nice going to the emergency room whenever I thought I had life-threatening occurrences, instead of waiting on a doctor or worrying about what I’ll have to pay if I scan certain parts of my body and have to weigh the risk to benefit, no I didn’t have to do any of that, I get everything for free, right away, they send me a bill and I throw it in the tidal wave. Somebody stole my identity, I tried to open up a bank account at this local bank 2 miles away from my house and they told me that somebody had already used my Social Security number and they couldn’t let me know the name or anything but she did slip up and say it was a girl, Also had another time when I put my number in a cash register for this promotion they said my name comes up as a girl. Did I care? No. What’s he/she gonna steal? Do you know how amazing it is not worrying about debt and not having bills? Credit is a system that doesn’t benefit me, I profit more off of “shorting” it. Obviously there are amazing instances where credit does come in to play if you’re trying to open up a business or something like that but I’m just a Joe Schmoe so for me it doesn’t help me in the least bit.

EvshrugAbsolutely. I am a mobile gamer on my iPad so I Lynn bed so for me over ear headphones are a major major major Nono. So hard to use them laying down on a pillow flat. My Etys Stick too much out of my ears and rub against the side of the pillow what kind of headphones would you say you’d recommend from your expert opinion on if you had to lay down like the most low profile kind of headphones that are also expensive iem level quality. (60-400 range) ?
League544Hmm, I also have a pair of Ety ER-6i (my first hifi “Headphones”), so I know they stick out a little. I also play mobile games while lying on my back, and I’ve been using my PC37X (first review of it on Drop is mine), but I couldn’t wear them and lie on my side, if you know what I mean. I don’t have problems wearing headphones and lying on my back, but I think part of that is my pillows are pretty firm and I don’t skink deeply into them (I use a firm Serta from Walmart... I tried more expensive pillows and memory foam but I still prefer my Serta). While lying back in bed and using my iPad, I usually prop my head up by folding my pillow in half :D I don’t think I could lay “on” any headphones on my side, not even with Koss KSC75 ear clip headphones or those “meant for sleep” things that look like sweatbands with headphone drivers inside (because I’m picky), and those pillows with headphone drivers all sound awful (though maybe you could DIY something interesting, cutting up a closed headphone and putting the earcup inside the pillow? Still would have a hard “thing” you’re laying on). The best choice, IMO, is an extremely thin in-ear-monitor. Among the universal IEMs, I recently tried a really cheap Chinese-Fi IEM, the BLON BL-03, which had smooth contours and was quite low profile, which should be more comfortable than average. I also really liked a single-driver IEM that looked like a crescent moon from Alclair, that should be better sounding. Probably the best option would be a custom IEM with a single driver - I’ve seen some brands specifically offering low-profile IEMs for comfort, though the brand I’m thinking about specifically (Custom Art) and others have revamped their product lines since I looked. If there is a brand of CIEM that interests you (please pay them money to support their business? Even if it’s cash), it might be best to call them and speak with a sales rep, and tell them you’re specifically looking for something low profile to wear and lay on.
