dpan1277Yes. Sennheiser sells closed back headphones at lower prices too, prices range from $15 to $60,000 USD.

dpan1277Yeah, it’s a big chunk of change and worth considering before you buy. I realize it’s sometimes harder to get things in Australia too, and Sennheiser was re-working their distribution and dealer network in your country. Looks like there are Sennheiser stores in Chatswood and Sydney, and local dealers as well? http://www.sennheiser.com/dealer-locator If you get a chance to demo them somehow, I do recommend playing around with placement, the sound changes pretty significantly.

dpan1277I would recommend checking out Addicted to Audio (Stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland, I believe). It's listed for A$2,398 with a full Sennheiser AU 2 yr warranty. I got mine from them. It's an incredible sounding headphone. A God-tier closed-back.
