I want to know where I can go *today* and buy these for less than $330 shipped new, because either my google fu is screwed or you all are some misrememberers.

tjcaustinYou can't. People wanted pricing in ranges that haven't been seen in about 2 years (on Amazon, at least), according to camelcamelcamel. However, given the hype it wasn't completely unreasonable to expect sub-$300 prices.

tjcaustinI think there's a place that will sell them for less than $330 - but this is Massdrop and it wouldn't be prudent to advertise another vendor. Google is not your friend because of Sennheiser's pricing policy.

tjcaustinActually I think it's quite the contrary. Rather than "misremembering", I "remember" that these could be had from Amazon (not a 3rd party seller on Amazon) for $302.93 with free shipping on Jan. 2nd of this year. Odds are those prices will return around the holidays, if not at Amazon, surely somewhere else. If you need these today, this probably is the best price available and don't get me wrong this is a good deal. However with a sizable group buy potential and a separate e-mail announcement teasing the drop, I certainly expected that the combined price would at least equal a retail price that was available within the past year.
