Coming from a pair of Audio Technica ATHM50s, the difference to me is huge. I actually understand what the term soundstage means now, as there is a profoundly interesting 3D soundstage on well produced music.
The detail blows the M50s away, and I'm hearing nuanced details that I hadn't heard before. The separation is great and drums have never sounded as good. Vocals have a lot more fidelity and everything just sounds way, way.. better.
