I tried these out when they released. Ended up returning them for something more premium, but they were very comfortable, had a good seal, and were super small and light. Reviews have said they are very bass-heavy, but I didn't quite agree- bass was present, but I've heard worse. The cable was good too, save for a bit too much memory- I prefer single strand over woven cables as they tend to be thinner and lighter. Only downside I would put forth is middling sound relative to price compared to some other iems in the price range. If comfort or weight is important, though, these are a great choice.
I have this, and only the transducer is made in Germany, make no mistake.
The manufacture of the final item is in China, obviously overseen by Sennheiser.
No one knows where the cable is made, but the cable despite what reviewers have said other than Valour is not microphonic for me and far better than than the one on the IE80S.
