Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. About microphonics: I would say it depends on a number of factors. I make my own cables, and have done so for years. The degree of movement or microphonic effect one hears is dependant on a number of factors. Material aside anything can vary it, from the sheath size / cable OD ratio to the electrical characteristics of the headphone in question.
That said, I would like some more information as the the performance of this cable. If anyone has one available, can they comment?
Otherwise, it appears to be a good looking and well-constructed cable that should perform well. Props for using a neutrik plug: I think they are very solid in design.
