The info for this knife was on Serge's website and he indicated he did not have enough time to handmake every one of the knives. It has since disappeared from the site and reappeared in this drop - maybe not enough sold through Serge's site as it is not a full custom build knife. My opinion, read into it what you will.
It is expensive for a small midtech but the price is lower here. The anodised version when it was available through Serge's site was $350. The knife has not been on Massdrop before so I don't get the 'best of' bit. Unless the reference is to the maker...but he didn't actually 'make' them.
Do I like it? Serge produces some fabulous stuff but personally I don't feel this version is better than generation 1. This seems more 'techy' and fiddly. Gen 1 had clean simple lines. A true gentleman's pocket knife.
