I love this thing! I finally have my ultimate keychain. I have been taking it back and forth through TSA every week since I got it no issues. But the TSA experience is highly dependent on the individual agent. So if you are ever questioned about it just ask to have a second opinion from a supervisor as it is, after all, just a harmless bottle opener with an "ergonomic" shape. The word "ergonomic" is key here, they probably won't know what it means and that will throw them off the hunt, sad but true, LOL.

All I know is that after spending this much money on a bottle opener, it's really going to sting when TSA or some other security confiscates it. And no, it technically doesn't meet the criteria for seizure, but based on how it looks, good luck arguing that point. I can't fathom why anyone would design a $150 bottle opener that looks like a weapon in this age of crazy security measures .

Hey, at least this isn't a $30 toothpick. That can't be used to pick teeth.

People really do not buy this as simply a bottle opener. They also double as a single finger brass knuckle used for defence or attack that you can attach to your key chain. Do not get caught with this in your possession in California, or any other state that prohibits the use of brass knuckles or in Federal buildings like courts or airports. People have gone to jail for this.

c7.62x39If u use this as brass knuckles u would break your finger! A lot of these mall ninjas dont seem to realise that most of the brass knuckles out there will do more harm to u than the other guy but thats what happens when designing weapons from the comfort of your computer screen-common sense is lost!

Glock4lifei agree, i fail to see a way this can be used as a knuckle without hurting yourself in the process the shape just doesn't seem to conform to any comfortable way of holding it or give any support in the back of the grip . And as many have pointed out if you only want it as a bottle opener then well thats your choice, i can think of better ways to spend my money.
