I've done multiple sealed booster boxes from Massdrop - no problems at all. Most ship a few days after the drop closes, though some have waited a few more days. So if you're not too concerned when you'll receive it, it'll be good.
Banged up packages are expected, given Massdrop seems to put a single box in a bubble mailer. That's really more of it being tossed in shipping, but usually comes out fine in the end. Each box is still individually sealed, you'd have to scrap hard to scratch or damage something - at which point the outside is obviously damaged during shipping.
Sad to hear about their grab box - glad I sat out of that drop
