hakushakuI am not sure where you are finding an MSRP for playsets, as the manufacturer (Wizards of the Coast) does not sell playsets in this manner. You may be confusing it with a booster pack box, which has an MSRP of 144$, and is very different from this product.

mbn451the msrp is stated below the price. still, for a bunch of common and uncommon cards to cost more than a booster box is nonsense

hakushakuGenerally, booster boxes will contain on average a playset of each common, a single set of each uncommon, and about half of all rares plus a couple of mythics. So you're getting on average 3x of each uncommon and wayyyy more rares than you would in a booster. Granted, you lose the ability to get mythics and foils.

MalZenithtrue. then again, can always trade off what you do not need with other players. save cost and make friends at the same time.

MalZeniththe only reason i can think of for getting this is to get all the sets and wait for pro tour to be over and sell them when the price spikes..

MalZenithI would agree, except this set is rather large (almost 300 cards), so there is a good chance you wont even get near a playset of even commons in a box.

hakushakuHey hakushaku, the MSRP listed is intentionally left to be the MSRP for a booster box as these come straight from booster boxes. We list that because technically we could determine something like an estimated value of the cards included, or we could estimate the value of a single card based upon the quantities in products that Wizards actually makes but that will probably result in a misrepresentation of the actual value of the cards.
The short of it is, as this is compiled by a third party using Wizards of the Coast products we cannot provide an MSRP by definition. We also don't want to provide a higher number to claim we are offering a discount compared to the MSRP because, once again, we cannot supply an actual MSRP.
Let me know if that addresses your concern, I'm more than happy to have a discussion/conversation on the pitfalls and prospects of MSRPs.
Additionally, I would personally purchase these to brew up a bunch of weird graveyard oriented decks, utilizing madness and delirium. We will see after the Pro Tour if there will be a crazy ROI due to price spiking.

Shadow-xHave they announced if there will be more than 1 DFC per pack? Because if it is limited to 1 you definitely won't get a full playset of those in one booster box.
