Love the design, UI..etc, but it's not loud enough for me. I'm using it with a pair of AAW a3H Pros and I definitely need an AMP. I've paired it with a Fiio E6, and it sounds a bit better, but not by much.
My RockBoxed XDUOO X3 with the same CIEM's is the bomb-diggity and no amp is necessary at all.
If only the XDUOO had the UI of the M1, it would be dope!
I have the M1, and I also have the A3H Pros. I also own Ei.XX, KL-Kanon, ASG 2.5. I don't have any volume issues with the M1 with any of them. You've got the gain turned up all the way?
Give your ears a break for a few days man! :-)
M1 in front shirt pocket, with short cable and custom in ears is the best damn "on the go" setup ever!
Yes sir, gain set to "High".
You might be right about taking a break...either that or my youthful indiscretions have lead to the ruination of my ears. LOL
Holy bejeebers, bro. I listen to M1 with IEM on low gain and don't feel the need to turn it up to anywhere near max volume. If your M1 is working properly, I'm fearful for your long term hearing. Take it easy!
