Wonder if these can power the e-mu purple hearts.
Aren't the Purplehearts only 32 ohms? I think the M1 can drive those okay, from what I've been reading on Head-Fi..
The purplehearts do have an impedance for 32ohms, this should have no problem at all.
Next week I'll test the E-MUs on the M1, I brought the sample to CES and find it a nice little unit. You may have figured out a great little combo for $200 + SD card.
The E-MU Purplehearts do sound good (and loud) with the M1...but they scale with some of the other DAPs I am testing. I do like the E-MU a bit more out of my iPhone too (touch cleaner, some added control). What I like about the M1: form factor, build, screen, UI, file compatibility, click-wheel, price. Oh, and the blue color, which is a tad "purplish" in person. ;)
