Wait I just spent $400 on the new M5S dap and this has the same dual DACs..
The appearance even looks like the same DAP.
i do like the M5s because it has a black background with no hiss on my very sensitive Campfire Audio Andromeda.
What is the main difference between this M3s and the M5s?

RareAirs300mW @ 32ohm on the 2.5mm up from 230mW on the M3s
AK4493EQ DAC up from AK4490EQ on M3s
body looks a bit "fatter" around scroll wheel and left side control buttons
no more back button under scroll wheel (looks like scroll wheel has that function built in[click wheel])
taller/longer body (may help with heat, m3s gets pretty hot after a good 2 hours running balanced)
touch screen(M5s only)
substantial battery increase, 3400mAH up from 2600mAH on M3s

bfitzM5s also has touchscreen functions. M3s screen, while pretty and with good resolution, is display only. BIG change.
