zimbo21003Ummmm, I don't know if you noticed but this thing has 64GB of storage. A 2006 iPod could only dream of having that. Sure that's pathetic by today's standard, especially if you're listening to lossless audio, but that's beyond the point! ;)
zimbo21003Sorry but this is not an iPod I have an iPod there actually very good players. This is a very high resolution audio device that is going to give you extremely fantastic sound. All the top line players now are running for almost $1500-$2000. Because they are trying to give you the same experience you get with a smart phone with audio that is out of this world. The reason they are so expensive is that a smart phone sells millions of devices, digital audio players only sell in the thousands so they don't have the large-scale to work with to drop prices like a smart phone would. People are so used to smart phones though they still want that same quality and same service in any digital product they get. So to get to that level the digital audio players have to charge more money. This isn't the only one check out HIBY R8 or Ibasso DX220 Max, Fiio 15, All around that same price. Not only do they play high resolution files you can stream things like Apple music or Tidal and get just absolutely superior sound. You can't compare it to a smart phone or even a cheap digital audio player. It's one of those things if you haven't heard it is hard to describe. I've had so many WOW moments with my R8. I was listening to a Mahler symphony and at one point I thought I was going to fall out of my chair the sound was so powerful. My speakers handled it fine but it did crack the nameplate on the speaker. So I know it's a lot of money and I'm not rich but I have not regretted paying the money for my R8 from the very first moment I received it back in September. From what I heard this one sounds just as good as the R8 and is a few hundred dollars cheaper. You do get what you pay for.
PotatoRawrNo this does not have 4G they did not release that version outside of China and Japan. So this is not the stainless steel 4G version which is not available here. This is the aluminum version. So the Wi-Fi is excellent and the Bluetooth is excellent. The streaming on this is absolutely fantastic. Yes it's very expensive but as I said if you love music, you want high quality sound it's worth it.
PotatoRawrIf you're in the market and looking you might want to check this one out it looks like it's going to have almost everything that the DX 220 max has just not quite as big a battery and it's about $700 cheaper as well. iBasso DX300 High Performance Digital Audio Player – Audio46
raymondehayes1I'm quite up to date on the release. The problem with ibasso products are that their first batch usually have some kind of problems. I chose the Fiio x7ii because I managed to find a really cheap used set in great condition. And all the money that would've gone to a flagship dap can now be channeled into my diy cable biz :)
RayF"Beginning a sentence with "Ummmm" makes you sound like an twelve year old girl, while pointing out the means you misses the original point."
I used it in the context of a joke, but it seems you missed it. That's ok, humor can be tough. Especially when English is your second language; guessing, based on your grammar. Keep at it, man, you'll get there!
RayFHumor isn't for everyone. In fact, you might be surprised to find it's not just telling jokes. For instance: satire and sarcasm. Just accept you didn't get it and move on. It's probably the language barrier that got you. Like I said, keep at it and there's a chance you'll understand other forms of humor.
RayF"Ummmm" wasn't a joke; it was the beginning to an entire statement. I'm not sure why you're so hyper-focused on it but it's interesting to know my throwaway comment gets to live rent-free in your head.
I'm not alluding to a language barrier. I flat out said you might have one based on your unintelligible attempt to insult my months-old comment.
Oh dear, you're right. I'm extremely embarrassed by my "low peer endorsements" on a site I visit and comment on a few times a year. Clearly you have a lot more free time to spend building clout here, so I'll use this opportunity to slink away in shame and try formulate a plan to come up with more internet kudos. Until next time, Sir.
