With so many devices running on finite lithium-ion power, most everyone has a portable battery bank of some sort. With excellent features and compatibility, the Sharge Storm 2 Power Bank is looking to take this industry, well, by storm Read More
So I actually ordered one of these several months ago and until yesterday or today the expected ship date was January 31, which has now been changed to April 28. I am going on a trip soon to somewhere the power goes out on a pretty regular basis and I need a charger there that I can take on a plane. Will my order, the one I placed long ago, be shipping at the end of this month or sometime in late April?
I do NOT recommend it, I was one of the early backer on Kickstarter, as per the rewards instructed I paid 120 USD for one around February 2021 with a discount. I never received it, everytime I email them is either no response or "we need time" until recently, they told me that my money is only for two wall charger and a wireless charger as rewards for backing a battery bank project. To people already paid for this, I hope you good luck on getting what you have paid for , to people thinking about getting it, I recommend against doing so.
VinnKiaWe are the vendor of this product. We have so far delivered 2 batches, around 300 PCS to drop and they are about to arrive at the warehouse of Drop. Both Drop.com and us can ensure that you get what you have paid for.
KeebmonkeyLol.
They said they will ship me two wall chargers for my Kickstarter pledge, and that was two months ago. I'm yet to receive my over priced chargers.
The brand is actually "Shargeek", no "Sharge" (you can see it in the screenshots). I actually own this and right now is 20% on Amazon US, which translates to $183.20+TAX. I highly recommend it but the shipping time here on Drop (12/28) seems too much to save just $14.20usd. And that is if they don't ship it later, as usual.
The current Amazon price is the same I bought it for during the Prime Early Access sale in mid-October. And you will probably see it again on sale closer to Thanksgiving, and still you will receive it earlier than ordering here, even if you don't have Prime membership. Just saying...
ReformedAudioThe quality is really solid imo, I love the fact that you can see exactly how much power is used at a time, and it's also great for using it with a soldering iron and small projects that need a battery. I don't know how many times it can charge a laptop, but it charged my phone from 20% to 80% about 5-7 times before I had to recharge it again. Also the 100W capability is amazing.
The information on the massdrop site is severely lacking. Pictures show every side but the one with all of the specs:
Capacity: 25600mAh (93.5Wh)

if you search for "Denvix Portable power charger" or "Denvix Storm 2" (drop seems to be auto deleting the direct link), there is a company selling what appears to be selling an identical product. I'm guessing it's the same Chinese OEM with a different decal. Some 1860's welded together should not cost over $100...
ShenanigansSuper sketchy product only available from a super sketchy site. They've literally copy and pasted from the Shargeek website... "the Shargeek storm 2 power bank". I'd expect to be scammed. You do you.
Edit: As a heads-up, most things with batteries are just standard battery cells. The Anker model I mentioned above uses 21700s which I think are also used in the Shargeek slim. Even laptop batteries often contain standard cells. It's cheaper.
