Too bad it's so big. A bit smaller and I'd get one. Have two Shields and happy with both. Drop discount considerable vs online sellers and you get a sturdy well-made watch for the price. Lot o hate for Shield here but these old farts hate just about everything. 😂
The prominent hand on a diver is supposed to be the minute hand, so you can tell how much time has elapsed. On these the hour hand seems prominent. The Spinnaker gets it right with a bright minute hand.
$69 gets you a $69 watch!! I think that says it all. But this watch dial, does have some redeeming features with the raised good sized indices, which if it is a decent lume by virtue of the size should show up well in the dark, it looks tough and if the water resistance works then becomes a budget beater watch. Doesn't look unlike the Spinnaker Dumas!! Probably worth spending the extra $150 or so to get Orient or lower level Seiko, if you are expecting any kind of quality build.
What a piece of garbage! And mass won't let me write a "nice" review (sarcasm). I guess only 4+reviews are allowed?
I'm actually thinking of a chargeback given CS response and the fact that they claim 316L steel on what is really 304 at best, but most likely some cheap metal alloy. (I'm in the process of finding out exactly what type but definitely not 316L!) I'm allergic to cheap alloys that's how I know.
