I have this exact lens I use on a D750. Pictures are incredibly sharp. Autofocus works well. Bokeh is soft and smooth.
Recommended applications are landscapes, group photos, and baby pictures or shorter distances (i.e. inside the house) where 50mm or 85mm is too much zoom. I pair this with my Sigma 24-105mm which serves as my walkaround lens. This 35mm is is my goto for the abovementioned applications, and the sharpness and clarity are unmatched compared to other lenses I've tried.
As much as I'd like to be a prime only "pro", the lazy factor kicks in and the 24-105 stays on the camera 90% of the time. I usually only get this out when I want to take advantage of the f1.4, or do family photos/portraits.
Two thumbs up for the 35mm Art.
