Signature Pen Company’s Jon David Jones selects the materials and hardware himself, and carefully constructs each pen to ensure the highest quality. To make the body, he first cuts the abalone into small pieces and secures it to the tube. Then he casts it in high-grade resin for 1 to 2 days and turns the abalone on a lathe. Once the shape is complete, he buffs and polishes the resin to a mirror-like finish. Titanium-plated accents complete the look, and the cap is postable for a comfortable, well-balanced writing experience.
