it's a kit pen. nice abalone, but low-cost, mass-produced hardware. In this drop, you're paying for the skill behind slicing up delicate abalone into strips and precisely cementing them around a barrel. no small feat.

I have this pen in the last drop. Beautiful and well made. The sealing is excellent.
I did not use the pen for about a month yet it still write and the ink did not evaporate.

My pen arrived defective.
When lid is screwed onto pen it crushes the tip of the nib.
Looking in the lid I see that in the lid there is a raised section in the center, this comes in contact with the nib and crushes it. I have now destroyed two Jowo nibs and I can't use the pen. I sent email to the signature pen company but they don't reply to my emails. What a waste of money!

Has something changed? I believe you contacted me and I replaced the Pen. We discussed the issues and I sent you a rollerball nib so you could use it that way as well as have another Fountain Pen. Incredibly beautiful pen, the threads remind me of the Namisu Nova with the flat tops. Must have had a lot of thought put into the creation of this pen.

Looks a lot like the Zexo abalone fountain pen, just a bit more expensive. They both look beautiful.

Beautiful, really lovely pens. Would definitely be a one of a kind with a very well liked nib. The work and craftsmanship and a one of a kind pen... even at full price seems fair. Love to see these type of pens offered thru Massdrop.
Something you can't find every day if you want something unique and different...
Hope this drop does well for Jon .. hope to see other pen makers items on Massdrop!
