Just got my hand on two sets of these from a locale vendor (Denmark) for around the same price as this drop. Building quality-wise these speakers are fantastic. The aluminium frame is very sturdy and has a really high-quality finish to theme. The textile is very breathable but at the same time tight enough to prevent any accidental contact with the tweeters or woofers. One thing to note about the design is that the glossy top are fingerprints and dust magnets, especially if you are planning to use the touch interface. Performance wise, there is no doubt they sound really really good, tho I wouldn't say $500 good. They are loud and voluminous but the DSP is somewhat noticeable, not enouch to bother me when I'm listening to music but there to be found, especially if you listen to music with deep bass and high treble. Judging by the sound quality I would say a more reasonable MSRP would be $250-300. Sorry but I don't have the experience to judge these in-depth from a true audiophile point of view. What I can say is that if you want really good sounding speakers in a small form-factor with ease of use and all the connectivity features you will need but trades of a bit of sound quality the Listen is perfect for you.
(Side note: the packaging is brilliant.)
