Product Description
The keycaps in Skyloong’s GK2 Silicone Gel keycap set have a truly unique feel. That’s because they’re made from medical-grade textured silicon, which means they’re soft to the touch and can be removed without a tool Read More

just an fyi for those wondering (not reviewing yet until i build something for them).... these are essentially really REALLY cheap and thin abs caps, with a silicone sleeve over the top. the sleeve can come off

mdotthis is how the key caps works, if the abs is very thick, the switch spring can not bounce it back when you press .

I wish these were made as blanks, and monocoloured

I've actually used these and they're pretty nice. Can't speak to long-term durability on the legends, but they have a more muted typing sound than without because of the silicone. I used them on a plastic case keyboard and it improved the sound.

Always great to see manufacturers experiment with new materials and non-Cherry profiles! PBT this, ABS that is starting to get a bit stale. 😆 I'd be down to give these a try if there was a blank set. 👀

medical-grade textured silicon I think you mean silicone. Also, if these are silica gel, does that mean they'll absorb moisture in humid climates?

graftIt has its protective surface which doesn't absorb moisture in any way. Although if you cut it with a scalpel and peel back the surface covering then it should be quite absorbent. Have used automotive/truck silicone inside certain bushings for years, and they are coated in oil and grease with dirt, they still are quite sturdy despite their surroundings.
