As someone who can never find the correct belt size, these ratchet belts are perfect. Just make sure you measure it around your waist and give it another 2 inches to make sure you don't cut off too much
I've had two of these belts for years now and they are still functioning great. The leather has a bit of etching from the clasp, so if you have fluctuated in weight during Covid you can see the marks on the belt, but its not too noticeable. The thing I was afraid of was the mechanism failing over time, but it still works as well as it did on day one. The buckle does etch a bit, but you can't expect it not to over time. I'll buy another for variety if it pops up again.
Another lost/broken pin (see numerous other negative reviews). Love the way it works, love the almost infinite adjustability (great eating belt). Mine lasted 3-1/2 years, which is why I give it 2 stars instead of 1, but something this simple (and expensive) should last longer. Regular belt buckles do (they are still in perfect working condition when I outgrow the belts). My belt was not dropped, stepped on or smacked against anything, it seems to have just succumbed to metal fatigue. If they revise the pin fastener to be more durable, I would give it another chance, but not the way it is now.
The Belt is greate until a small pin dropped out and the buckle fell apart. This is a series error. It happed to every belt i own. Do not buy because Costumer Service won't help.

Whilst it was good while it lasted, 2 years. A simple pin dropped out and customer service said they couldn't replace it or fix it but gave me a discount on a new one !!

If you can't repair a simple pin after 2 years you shouldn't be selling this product.
Belts are meant to last a long long time, not 2 years.
You must know you have a problem but all you can offer is "spin"

Good looking belt, good looking buckle. Innovative and easy to use. Got compliments (not common for a belt!!!),
Then the pin essential to the buckle fell out. Buckle fell apart. Couldn't open it to remove belt from pants.
I've lost my belt AND a good pair of pants (at least until I get advice as to how to pry remaining buckle open in order to undo the belt).
I've contacted customer service, so I'm hopeful.
