I would be on this like a fly on s__t if it weren't a slim-fit. Relaxed would be the best option but a regular would still be worth a shot. Something for MD to consider next time as its too late for this drop. And, yes, I already checked their website, they DO offer these as options. http://www.smartwool.com/shop/mens-merino-150-baselayer-short-sleeve-SW016041

Can anyone comment on fit for someone with broad shoulders but narrow waist? Shoulders typically fit best in XL shirts, but then its hanging off of me. Leaning towards L anyway, since it seems like XLs are frequently on sale, but curious. Any comparable brands (its hard to find a store that carries these shirts, and the store locator will send you anywhere that carries Smartwool socks).

I would buy these if they were long-sleeved.

I'm wondering how the 13% nylon core affects the performance - does it change the warmth or odour resistance versus plain wool?

I wore long sleeve WoolPro thin merino hiking down into the Grand Canyon a few weeks ago in 85 degree weather. Was great! Kept me cool. Never stinks.

Will you please post pictures of the seams? I have had seams fail under the arms in the women's version I own in the first few wearings, so I have concerns about longevity. They are comfy, though. I bought them for backpacking because after airing out for the night, they have no smell. Thanks wool!

SthwaitsDifferent product. That's pure wool without the nylon content to make this product more durable.
