Love this amp, and highly recommend it for anyone who's looking to utilize it for smaller bookshelf speaker setups and applications. The quality of sound is sufficient for my particular use, which is for a small studio room DJ setup. I've paired the amp with an old pair of B&W Rock Solid Series speakers and a B&W ASW608 subwoofer, and it sounds GREAT for the room. It puts out just enough juice to fill the room (10'X14'), without it being overly loud. The tone control is a nice touch as well. The functionality isn't too intuitive, however, so I just keep the manual underneath the device. I wish there was a "reset" function to zero out the tone control parameters, but I guess you can't expect too much for the price. I'd consider buying this again, or at least an updated model. This was my first SMSL device, but it definitely won't be my last. The fact that it's still working after 4+ years is quite surprising. For the price, I think it's a great value, and would recommend it. Don't expect Marantz quality audio, but again, it's a great value for what you pay.

Still works after 3 years.
I have it powering a pair of Polk bookshelf Reference II speakers, and it gets loud but still detailed. Lovely amp.
