The AKM AK4493S chip provides an insanely low 0.00011% total harmonic distortion, while delivering resolutions up to 768 kilohertz at 32 bits, with full DSD512 support. The ultra-low-noise Japanese clocks ensure that there’s very little unwanted jitter to introduce artifacts, and that attention to detail is carried through to the beautifully designed anodized CNC-machined enclosure. Of course, it’s the Bluetooth performance—supported by the QCC512 chip—that offers excellent transmission and full support for premium codecs like Qualcomm aptX HD and LDAC. You can control it all with the handsome machined knob on the front or with the included remote control.
