So far it hasn't worked with any of our Android devices successfully. Tried on a Nexus 6, Honor 8, and Note 10"

Aw damn I really want something like to play good audio on my phones. I hate to carry a huge dac amp around. Could it be an issue with insufficient power or software?

The Note 10" shouldn't have any problems and my other DAC works on all 3 devices. I tried out a Fiio one that goes off phone power and it only refused to work with the Honor 8. Nexus 6 should be more than enough to power it. The light comes on but no sound comes out of it. The Note 10 gets sound but it's only a god awful squealing noise.
I'd steer clear.

I have the OnePlus X and sadly it doesnt work on it, but checking on phones like Galaxy S7 or the LG G4 it worked just fine, as I understand its a software problem, the OEM just don't enable the OTG-Audio interface supported since android 5.0 =[

Interesting that a "software" problem would only apply to that DAC and not the others. I most likely got a defective one. My comment still stands I would personally avoid it as they seem to be having QC issues.

Ah I see. I thought it would have to do something with the USB type c port.

It work fine with my Oneplus 3 but only with USB audio Player pro. I use the cable which came with the idol+ and an adapter (usb c > usb a) and I have no problem.
I don't understand peoples in this discussion which said : "the idol suck", "it's very poor" etc...
The dac has no sufficient power for headphones with high impedance but with a 32ohms headphones, it work perfectly well.

Again, Great for IEM's, anything more and it struggles, even 32ohm ones (I have the SHP9500 and EM-U Walnut, both are around 32ohm)

The emu and philips require a lot of power (emu more than shp9500). The idol+ can drive 32 ohms headphones wich require only little power (the idol+ give 35mw only so if your headphones request more than 35mw, the idol+ cannot handle est headphones.)
