so I bought this from ebay the day I saw this drop because I didn't want to wait lol Just got it today. Using my galaxy note 3 with USB Audio Player Pro, the ivy was able to drive my K7XX at a higher volume vs the headphone out, but not by a lot (I was able to drive it at max with the ivy without immediately having to take the headphones off my head, although I would not listen at that loud of a level normally). The sound quality wasn't really better but the Note 3 has a pretty capable DAC in the first place. The ivy did not work on my fire 7 tablet with cyanogenmod but I'm not sure if that's an issue with the ivy or the OS.
Overall, if your phone's dac is lacking or you just need a little boost in power, it's a pretty good buy for $25. The build is actually solid and it even includes a nice storing pouch. At this price point, it's competing with the likes of the Fiio E6/A1 but has the benefit of being plug and play without needing to charge the amp or use additional cables.
