This looks interesting to me, but I can't pull the trigger without knowing its output impedance. Anyone got a clue?
It uses a TPA6120A2 as the output buffer. This opamp requires a minimum output impedance of 10 ohms to prevent oscillation. The same chip is used in the Fiio E09K, Topping A30, etc.
my unit was fitted with an OPA 2604...quite warm sound...but a bit veiled in the highs, and dynamics was a bit congested.
...so i inserted à Burson V5i dual in the socket and voilà : good dynamics and clear highs without too much sibillance.
