Fitted with a Burson V5i dual opamp this small amplifier packs a pure and linear power to virtually ANY headphones you will plug info it ! 1w is more than enough to wake up even high impedance cans. At this price this is a steal !

When you say "fitted with a Burson V5i dual opamp", did you install them and did it require soldering? My amp is the Pro version and is already pretty great. This Massdrop offering doesn't say it was the pro version. Do you know if mine can be fitted with the Burson and how great would you estimate the improvement? Cheers!

UsehernameYes I installed it on the socket as you can roll the opamps. Not really worth it though as the Opamp is nearly the same price...was.my first amp and I love it though

UsehernameI tried the LT1364 too...great sound ...much cheaper too (less than 10€).
IMHO Burson is too expensive for a 40€ amplifier ! Go for the LT1364 you should love it !
(BTW I have one of each available on sale if yoI absolutely want to switch :))
