This is a powerful amp for the price, and it's small enough to easily find a spot for it anywhere. I've had two units and the quality control isn't the best which is probably why they are able to keep the price down. The case seems poorly shielded, so static discharge from touching the case can cause the amp to "reset" and require a power cycle and if you put a GSM cellphone near it it can periodically cause interference. Once you are aware of these issues, it's easy to deal with them, and I think this is probably as good as you can get for a small desktop amp/dac in this price range.
