The SMSL SH-8 is a headphone amplifier designed around a singular goal: Making your headphones sound incredible. The SH-8 delivers up to 600 ohms of output impedance, with total harmonic distortion as low as 0.0009% and a signal-to-noise ratio as low as 107 dB—allowing for clean headroom and optimized performance for virtually any pair of headphones. Built in a silver-colored, all-metal enclosure, the SH-8 looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, and that’s a good thing. Clean, simple, flat surfaces are offset by a small indicator display and a series of recessed inputs and outputs—perfect for a wide range of setups The front contains your two headphone options: a 6.35-millimeter port and a balanced headphone jack. On the other side, your inputs give you a balanced XLR option or an unbalanced RCA option.
