Handles a lot of different headphones with ease, from 32 ohm dynamic drivered cans to dt880 600ohms. Only headphone it doesnt seem to agree with is my vintage akg k340s, but i cant find anything that agrees with them anyway.
I bought this because of the low price and was happy that it sounds so good. I have it powering hd6xx, Sundara, Argon MK3 and hd58x, just to name a few. With a balanced hook-up those cans sound sublime. Excited about my purchase.
Certainly like the gain options. Would a 3rd gain option have been better? Absolutely. However, as an entry level headphone amp, it has really impressed.
