kboulesI'm looking to buy this dac too, did you changed the switch 220/110 at the back of the dac? Or it just died like that?

prignonyThe switch was in the correct position for me (220V), and it worked for a couple of months.
Then it had faults for a couple of days - could not switch from one file type to another - it remaine on 44.1 kHz when I played a High Res file. Then after a couple of days it died. I have not returned it to Massdrop due to shipping cost. It is just a brick for now, until I find somebody who maybe can fix it.

kboulesDamn, that is a bad news. I can't decide yet wich one to buy. I need a balanced dac to feed my Arcam rHead and a pair of DT990pro. I've a small smsl idea wich sound great but not enough power for my hadphone. Thanks for your answer :)
