I've returned my Su-8. There was something wrong with it. There was a Staticy / buzzing noise using the usb or optical input . So for now, back to the original m8. I am thinking about trying the Topping D50 . Sure wish the gustard x22 was a couple hundred cheaper :}

jerkyWhen SU - 8 arrived, did you first set the voltage of 230 V / 115 V?
If the voltage selector switch is set to 230 V and connected to an outlet of 115 V, it operates but generates noise.
I currently use Topping D10 D50 DX7s and SMSL SU-8. I recommend D50 with excellent sound quality to you. However, even after firmware update, only one problem remains.
If you play a PCM 384k song after playing a song other than PCM 384k, a large pop noise will occur at the beginning of the song.
I think that chances of using PCM 38k are few so it will not be a problem so much. We already reported this problem to Topping.
SU-8 also has problems. Often it will be like a fade-in in the beginning of the song in about 0.5 seconds.
