mattrisThe SU-8 uses 1x ES9038Q2M which is what I believe you're thinking of. The DO100 uses 2x ES9038Q2M. This model, the SU-8S, uses 1x ES9068AS.

Daedalus76Honestly, I don't even know what balanced is supposed to mean when it comes to DACs. This is balanced in that you're getting differential output but it is not dual mono.
